Nickeloden Magazine
Nickeloden Magazine is second of the two channel based magazines that I grew up reading. I first read the magazine back in 2003 when I was visiting my older cousin when she and her family lived in Hawaii because her dad was stationed there for a bit. Once I got home from our visit, that's when I getting subscriptions from them. Like with Disney Adventures, Nickeloden Magazine was a a pop culture magazine for children and preteens that covered anything that aired on Nickeloden, one of the 3 main kids channel in America. But like Disney Adventures, they also covered non-Nickeloden topics such as movies, video games and even current events such as the 2004 Presidental Election.
But like Disney Adventures, Nickeloden Magazine did too shut down in late 2009 after 16 years in business thanks to the Recession and the Internet, where you can get info about the latest pop culture for free. When I recieved the final magazine, I got a little sad inside. But I should've known since the issues in the last year tend to have shorter pages and more SpongeBob SquarePants on the front cover (this was around the time the channel was treating that show like God and that they were celeberating the 10th year annviersity since it premiered).
At least the plus side is that I still have copies of Nickeloden Magazine in a moving box, that is located in my cloest. But just like with Disney Adventures, all the front covers were taken from the Nickeloden Fandom page (Yes, Fandom bad. But they managed to have MOST the issues as well). I think I'll put a few pictures of my copies on this on the bottom page to give a good feel on what it looked like.
